The gist of what I wanted was an app that does not require you to save your file somewhere on the hard drive before or while youre working, it just saves it automagically as a thumbnail in a library for you. Well, I found an app recently that does this very thing, and get this – its FREE!

I’ve been using and loving a service called Dropbox these days. It allows you to set up a folder on your hard drive (either Mac or PC, and Linux I guess) that can be accessed in a web browser by you or anyone you invite to share the folder with.

I am consistently amazed at the level of student work that comes out of the film school Gobelins in France. I dont know exactly how their program works, but I do know that each year they showcase a few films made by students.
